Our time with HK Physio Ltd is phenomenally rewarding, for everyone involved. HK Physio clinic is based near Sidmouth, East Devon, covering the south west for specialist amputee physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation services. Patients travel from all areas of the UK and overseas to benefit from their expertise. Holly King is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist within the field of amputee rehabilitation.
Epic Kayaks UK supports the Adventure Rehabilitation work that Holly leads with her partners. HK Physio Ltd believes that a life changing injury should not prevent anyone from being able to participate in activities that they may (or may not!) have enjoyed pre-injury. Clients are given the opportunity to experience mountain biking, swimming, paddle boarding, running, climbing, sailing, skiing/snow boarding - and now kayaking and surfski!
The Epic V5, V7, V8 and V8 doubles are proving to be the most fantastic platforms to give new paddlers the challenge to stretch their boundaries, safely and coping with minimal adaptations required for amputees.
